TEAMS MATCH' AT TRBNTHAM. A t Trentbaiu on Saturday afternoon tin Highland Rifle , Club tried conclusions in it teams match with the Karori Rifle Club, Both clubs put two teams of ten men each in tho held. M wis anticipated, the result of tho match between tho two No. 1 teams was very oven. At tho first range (300, yards) tho Karori team established a lead of 13 points, which was increased to a lead of 22 pointo at tho 500 yards range. At GOO yards, however, the'-Highlanders mado,a reoovcry, and reduced tho deficit by one point, tho final result being a win for tho Karori , team by 21 points. In the match between tho two No. 2 teams tho Karori Club, won somowhat easily by a, margin of7l points. * The feature of the day's shooting was tho excellent Bcoro made by Rifleman E. O. Lower, of tho Karori No. 2 team. Under adverso conditions, he notched 84,-. 83, and 33 respectively at tho • threo 1 ranges, making a. total of 100 out of tho 1 possible 105. Tho next highest score was that mado by Rifleman Spenocr, of tho -. Highland Club.
