HIS EXCELLENCY'S TEAM. TO PLAY THE TRAVELLING "NOMADS." . His Excellency the Governor, the Earl ol Liverpool, ia an enthusiastic cricketer, and tokos a live interest in the great summor game, no matter where, he may bo. His Excellency is arranging a team to meet tlio Nomads, a touring combination which has been laying soveral country clubs low during the holiduys. The Nomads include playens from Christchurch, Martou, Hamilton, and Wanga* nui, and they are putting in the Christmas and New Year holidays on the cricket field. The nnme9 of tlio players are:—Marshall, Gremer, Hussey, Pomeroy, Butterworth, Harper, Bernon, Cook, Latham, Broad, and Arkwright. At Masterton on Friday the Nomads, playing against Wairarapa, made' 397 runs, to which total Butterworth contributed 121. His Excellency's team will be composed I of the following players :-Earl of Liverpool, Captains Shawe and Eastwood, Majors Hughes,-Hume, Cochrane, Dr. Collins, Messrs. M. Luckie, C. : Richard6on, Mason, and another. The match "will commence on the Collego .Ground at 2 p.m. to-day. REPRESENTATIVE CHANGES. • | Messrs.,.
