Sydney* January 6. , The captain of the Danish barque Thorn (from 'New Zealand) reports pighting a dismasted vessel 300 miles from Capo Farewell, apparently from Newcastle. The vessel was coal-laden, and hed evidently met trouble off the New Zealand coast. The Thora signalled, but got no reply. . HOPELESSLY OVERDUE. . ' WHITTINGHAM AND SNOWDON .RANGE. ..
