Liberal organa declare that the Govern,ment does not intend to preoipifate 0 general election, notwithstanding tho temptation arising out of the Unionists' distraction and embarrassments. The Premier, Mr. Asquith, had previously hinted at possibility of a general election, and. it was also reported that Mr. Bonar Low (the Unionist Leader) had accepted tho Premier's challenge to go to'the country.
