Four automobile bandits wrecked a jewedlefs shop window and cscaped with a tray of diamonds. A fashionable woman fainted in tho armtj of a policeman, who was thereby prevented from drawing his revolver. The lady then vanished.' She is supposed to have been an accomplice. Late, another policeman stopped the automobile on a charge of furious driving. The inmate invited tho policeman on board, shot him, threw his body out of the oar, and escaped. .
