FIRE AT BROOKLYN.
At .midnight lost night tho City Fire Brigade roceived a call to Karopa Street, Brooklyn, to supress an outbreak of fire in a six-roomed house, owned and occupied by Mr. Robert Holland. Very slight damage was done to a room used as a feed and general storeroom, and the brigade had no difficulty in dealing with tho outbreak. Tho iiro originated through tho leaving of ono or two lighted matches on a bench. Tho house te insured in tho St'ato offico for £600, but tho contents woro uninsured.
