TRIP BY WADESTOWN C.C. A team from Wadestown C.C. journeyed to Shannon on New Year's Day to play a match against the local club. The visitors were hospitably entertained, the ladies doing all they could to make the day enjoyable. Tho weather was fine, and a good game resulted. Wadostown won by an innings and 11 runs. Shannon in their first innings made 40, and in their second 88 (Trcmewan 15, Harris 14, Pope 11). Wadestown mada 133 (F. Joplin 79, retired, 0. Taylor 32, M'EUigott ' 14 not out).
