DUNEDIN MEETING, Dunedln, January 2; The rwt of the New Zealand championship events allotted to the Otago Caledonian Society by the Athletic and Cycling Union, wore , decided to-day. Branson (Auckland) comfortably won tho 100 yds. championship, Hally finishing clow up. The race was run against the wind, and the time, under tho circum- • stances, must be accounted very good. There were only four starters an the half-nnlo championship. Carroll was in front all tho way, M'Leod making a big but unsuccessful effort to'get up in the last few yards. • AVrII and Kerr (Christchurch) had matters all their own way in tho mile and three-mile bicyclo , championships, Wall taking tho mile anil Kerr the threemile honours; In the latter event AVall secured most of tho lap prizes, and ho and his team mato finally cleared out from the other starters, and finished in easy fashion half a lap to the [food.
