WELLINGTON CENTRE'S TOURNAMENT. SUNSHINE ANDJUIN, Fine weather prevailed yesterday for the second day of the Wellington Bowling; Centre's tournament, which is interesting 210 bowlers in tho city-at present. At the outset the meteorological aspect was rather gloomy, and many anticipated that rain would, fall before noon, but after a struggle Old Sol won, and the conditions during most of. the afternoon wero very pleasant. Light rain fell towards tho close; of the day., l'he greens were a little alow compared with the slippery state they have been in during the past fortnight,. and losers of games naturally used the fact as a renson for their noneuccess. " !As notified, yesterday the centre' found it necessary to cut out the. second, third, and fourth 'rounds, 60 that a start :was made on the fifth round in the morning, and- the four concluding rounds were Completed during the day. .
