Ho outlined the following programme for the consideration .' of tho conference!—(l) _ The gonoral plan of a progressive, curriculum from the J kindergarten to the university, with provision for transition to commercial and technical studies; (2) o general sohemo of instruction covering the above curricula) (8) a sohemo for scouring tho best means for passing. on pupils from one stage of education t6\ the others; (i) a plan 'of administration suitable lor, carrying out the above; (5) a plan' for tho selection, equipment,, and training 'of teachers; (G) the functions and limits of examinations; (7) the fitness: of school buildings for tno various, kinds ■of educational work: (8) the "moral and physical training of children; (9) the suitability of school books and appliances.
