Izard (W.) beat T. F. Chambers (S.). and G. E. Butterworth (U.). ' ' ' ' Tho disqualification imposed on H. A. Penn, winner of tho Canterbury Handicap, for failing to qualify os a Canterbury resident, was removed, as it was found that his placo of residence- was at Culverden, which is within tho Canterbury boundaries.
