.The southern tour of Madame Kirkby Ltinn is- proving a great success and in Christchurch .and Dunedin ; > great enthusiasm. was displayed at tlie concerts. Madame ■ Lunn recently completed a remarkable concert season in Sydney, when she gave no less 1 than eleven■ concerts, all with., remarkable success, and judging by the interest; being manifested, in the return' visit to this city, Madame will again add to her'ninny successes. On Thursday evening a song recital will be given by Madame Kirkby Luntf, and it is said :.t'hat 'the gifted singer is at her best in this particular' branch of vocal art. In the-song-recital programme will ho . included pianoforte solos by Mr. William Murdoch, - the~ brilliant pianist of the party, who has made a great impression in the south. On Saturday evening Madame Lunn has arranged to give a finar grand concert, at which tho whole of tho talented company will-appear, and those numbers which have proved most pormlar 'during the tour of the 'Dominion will be included in the programme. For both ■ evenings popular nrices will be charged, and '.the box plan of reserved seats-is now'open at the Dresden, where day sale, tickets for tho second seats may also be obtained.
