PARACHUTE FAILS.. By Telegraph—Preao Association—Oopyrlffht London, December 26. A balloonist named Penfold, whilst paraohutirig from hia balloon over London at a height of 3000 ft., dropped 500 ft. before the parachute opened.
He was carried three,miles out to.sea but landed safely. ,
