(From Oct Special Oofresbondent.) ■ -O- . At the Petone Workshops yesterday morning a man named James Dovey, whilst engaged in disconnecting e pipe, was 6calded on the neck. He was attended bv Dr. Boss. . . At the Petone Police Court yesterday morning (before Messrs. M Ewan and Southgate, J.P.'s), Peter Guthrie .was charged with insobriety and using oertam language. On the firstcharge : le was convicted and discharged. On 'ho Mconi he'was fined 10s., in default 48 f.ours inW prisoriment.
