: HORSES BY THE NAIKJiSHIHEi ' Three valuable horses were brought out from Liverpopl by the steamer Nairnshire, which arrived at Auckland last Saturday. Two of the animals are wellbred trotters, nurchascd in Scotland for Mr. Bryce, of Christchurch, and the third is .tie thoroughbred three-year-old Clydesdale' stallion Sir Wesley, purchased in Scotland : by 3lr. AV; Holmes, of ailcato'. . In tho midst of wars and rumours of wars the dairying scction of the Dominion still preserves the "even tenor of its .way." That the "Victor" Cheese Vat is a "means" of providing extra profits to the farmer has been, proved' conclusively by the large number of orders filled this year by tho maker.
