STABLES DESTROYED.

Hastings, December 24. The training stables and whare occupied by Leslie Carrick, trainer for Baugi Kerchoma, were destroyed by fire last evening. Four horses in the loose-boxes were let out, but a two-year-old ran back into the burning building, and was burnt to death. The contents of the wharo and considerable feed were lost. There was no insurance on the horse or buildings. The cause of the fire is unknown.
