TOMATO BLIGHT.
Sir,—ln the lorcal paper here last week I, saw that the tomato-growers arc troubled with a blight in their plants and would like to find a cure for it. I .had a blight amongst ray plants like the potatoblight, which nearly killed all the plants. I thought it I dusted ashes over them it might stop it, but it didn't, so I tried a fruit-tree spray, called "L J Eclair Verraoute," and now the plants have fully recovered, and are also very healthy and coming into flower, practically none the worse for the blight. Hoping this is some use to the fomato-growers, for if they haven't already found- a remedy, this spray may be of some use.—l am, etc., Marton, December 20, 1912.
