ST. ANNE'S CADETS,
1 • St. Anne's Senior Cadets leave by the' Moiioivai this evening to compete at the military tournament at Christehurch on > December 26 and 27. Captain R. E. J. ■ Martin, who lias now trained the team for ' two years with success on each occasion, ■ is in charge, and has with him Lieutenant L. Turner. The route marching team, which is the present holder of the championship, is in charge of Corporal J. Fitzgerald, and the squad drill and rifle teams j are in charge of Corporals Troy and Ben- . son, respectively. The personnel of the i team is as follows:—Captain B. E. J. > Martin, 0.C., Lieutenant L. Turner, Quartermaster, Sergeant Vernon Eaydon, Corporals J. Fitzgerald, B. Benson, J. Troy, . Lance-Corporals B. Mahoney, B. Waller, L. Becker, A. Knox, Privates H. Riddl»r, , T. Forster, V. Becker, J. Molloy, W. Hutchesonj Q. Lee, M. Linchey, and Bugler Martin. The company's mascot, "Paddy," is accompanying the cadets. Although St. Anne's have a tougher proposition this year than formerly, they should give a good account of themselves.
