CORONER'S INQUEST.

Mr. W. (J. Riddell, S.M., held an inquest yesterday touching the death of William Egau, who expired suddenly early on' Thursday morning. Evidence was given to tho effect that deceased had been working from 4 p.m. on Wednesday to 4 a.m. cn Thursday, coaling the steamer Ngahere, and that shortly after his ceasing work ho became sick, fell down, and expired. The verdict was that death was due to heart failure.
