TUG OF WAR CARNIVAL.
» ' Interest is quickening in the trig tug-o£-war carnival to be held in the Town Hall, commcncing on Boxing Night. The publio are being .given an added interest in the various events >in the opportunity given to win a prize by selecting the winners of each nighfs pulls by means of the calculation admission tickets. The recent big carnival in Sydney ivas largely. attended by ladies, who took a keen interest in the different 'oontests. They will 'be catered for in the Town Hall by the introduction of the übiquitous kinematograph, by which means new and up-to-daate pictures will be thrown on to the screen between each of the events. Those who desire to ba present on Boxing night are. advised to secure their tickets at once.
