EMPIRE TRADE MARK.
PRIVATE BILL INTRODUCED. By Teleeranh—Pro«a Association—GopyrleM (Rec. December 20, 11.5 p.m.) London, December 20. A Merchandise Marks Bill has been privately introduced in the House of Commons. The Bill provides that oil imported foreign articles shall bo marked "Not British," thus avoiding an advertisement for the country of origin, while goods of British or colonial manufacture shall be branded "British Empire make."
