ADMIRALTY'S REPLY DEFERRED. By TeleErapli—Press Ascoolation—OoDyrinht London, December 19. ; Mr. Winston Churchill, First Lord of the Admiralty, has postponed until after .the Christmas rcccss his reply to tho question relating to H.M.S. Torch and 11.M.5. Prometheus, on the ground that the facts disclosed in tho Commander-in-Chief's report afrccted matters of .discipline, which must be fully considered. Mr. Winston Churchill, replying to a question in the House of Commons Inst month, said that, according to nn. Admiralty order, H.M.S. Torch, on the Australian station, ourht to havo been thoroughly inspected, but this had not been doae.
