HOSPITAL BOARD.

The Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board met yesterday. Mr. J. Trevor presided. Other members present were: Messrs. J. Godber,.J. Smith, J. E. Fitzgerald, G. Nash, W. Galloway, B. E. Gardoner, H. Baldwin, J. \V. MDwan, F. T. Mooro, D. Robertson, and Revs. W. A. Evans and H. Van Staveren. It was resolved.that as advised by tho Medical Superintendent, the visiting days at the Children's Hospital be Wednesdays and Sundays only, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. It was decided that' Messrs. Trevor, Godbcr, M'Ewan, and Baldwin; _ should confer re the 6ystem of purchasing provisions. The board resolved: "That, in reference to tho proposed loan of ,£IO,OOO for the out-patients' and pathological block, the Public Trustee apply to the Governor for the necessary Order-in-C'ouncil to advance tlio loan on tho security of the rents and profits of the board's endowments, supplemented by a covenant that fhe board will levy on the contributory bodies in each year to the amount (if any) required to mako up any deficiency in tho annual charges on the loan, and that tho loan be on the instalment system, with a term of 361 years, when tho wliolo liability, would bo extinguished." It was agreed to ask tho Government to forward a report of the recent conference of doctors respecting consumption,
