Kovacs has been . acquitted on the charge of attempting the life of President Tisza, President of the Hungarian Lower House, in June last. '■" " SI. Kovacs, of the Hungarian Lower House, was ejected from the Chamber during the discussion on the second and third readings of .the Defence Bill, but. later, entered the Press Gallery, and from there fired several shots at President Tisza. whom he missed. •Hβ then attempted suicide.
