For this disease there is no better remedy than the ordinary Bordeaux mixture, spraying with which is each year becoming moro general in all potato-growing districts. Dr. A. B. Griffiths, an English authority, is one who firmly believed in mid strenuously advocated the nso of sutphnto of iron as an ingredient in potato manure formulas. hi his "Treatise on Manures" ho demonstrates its value, not only as air nut to obtaining a greater yield of tubers, but also as u preventive of potato disease.
