The annual meeting of the Canterbury Frozen Meat and Dairy Produce Export Company was held this afternoon. The annual''-report said: "The net profit tor the year was .£23,512 9s. lid., which, with the amount' brought forward from ; last year, makes the amount at credit of the profit and loss account ,£25,625 ss. 7d. Out of'this,'Jß2ooo has been added to general reserve fund, increasing it to iOta.OCO; ',£IOOO lias also been added to the insurant reserve fund, bringing tho same up to i;i-o,at)o. .-S3CJO has been written off tho works, and an amount.of .£4509 placed to reserve, to provide for renewals and re- • placements in progress and authorised. ' After apportioning these amounts and deiluctins the dividend paid at the lmli'ycnr, there remains £8520 3s. 7d., which the directors propose to be dealt with as fol'ldws:—To the payment of a further dividend of 3 per cent, on preference and 4 per cent, on ordinary shares, making the total dividend for the year G. per cent, and 6 per cent, respectively, £W9 25.; to carry forward £i 927 Is. 7d.; total, .£8526 3s. 7i.
