THE NEW RESERVOIR.

The x reservoir is roofed'in'with concrete, which is 13 inches thick in the centre, and tapers out to the sides, where it is nino inches thick. The reservoir is divided into tw large: .tanks, : which are capable of holding 1,000,0W gallons. of : '.water' each. So far only one of the tanks is completed, and work.-is;proceeding: rabidly with the construction '6i the other. Yesterday the coinpleted.tank was put to a-test, and was allowed to fill to 3ft. from the top.
