After claimant's witnesses had been heard yesterday, ovidence was called for the respondent county at considerable length. This raised the question of the possibility, of constructing a dam to deal with the water supply for stock, it having been, alleged that the construction of the road had left one part of the farm without water. Counsel for claimant subsequently asked that he bo granted an opportunity of calling expert evidence as to the possibility of constructing the dam and the cost thereof. The question, he said, had been sprung as a surprise. The Court agreed that this opportunity should bo given. An adjournment was .therefore granted until Friday, January 31, 1913, at 11 a.m.
