A 6tone statue with a crown and orb, evidently representing a king, has been erected over tho members' entrance at Westminster Hall. The statue, with two others, also of icings, which will be placed beside it, at one time stood at tho south end of the Hall, but when in 1522 a coffee house that stood there was taken down, the statues were found behind it, nnd .were put into tho crypt. In .1850 they were removed to a museum, from which they have now been triken'.. The names of the kings, however, ''are "unknown. Even tho Office of Works cannot eay who they aro. It is suggested by oxperts that thflv may be Edward I, 11, and 111.
