SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present inxMoa-Uona are for unsettled and equally weather, with heavy showers In many parts of the country, and local eloofcrdoaj disturbances at times. A cool ohango is probable Boon, strong westerly winds veering to the south for a short time, and the barometer rising temporarily southward of Cook Strait. Warm and hazy weather, with passing clouds, has prevailed in most parts, but very squally conditions were experienced on Sunday night in Foveaux Strait, and on the West Coast of the South Island. Qreytown, December 16—The weather has ohanged. Windy and cloudy day; rain threatening. • Mastorton, December. 16.—Cloudy to-day, with strong winds blowing; rain expected.
