The Scripture Gift Mission, on 'learning that the King reads the Bible regularly, wrote to.Lord-Knollj-s, his Majesty's secretary, who replied that the King had directed him to eay that it was, true he had promised Queen Alexandra in 1881 to read a chapter of tho Bible daily, and had adhered to his promise ever since.
