Potatoes. I?rcnch Beans. Gooseberry Tart. Baked Custard. Cream. SUPPER., Galantine of Chicken. Salad. Strawberry Jolly. Orange Pudding. STRAWBERRY JELLY. One pint strawberries. Juice of 2 lemons, rind of 1 lemon, l{m. gelatine, 1 fiint water, Jib. sugar, a few drops cochneal, whites and shells of 3 cg/s. Boil tho water and 'suear to a syrup. Pour over tho strawberries and allow to stand i_ hour. Then rub through a fino hair sieve. Put the syrup which should measure with tho lemon juice about 1 ouart into a pan. Beat tho eggs with a littlo of the syrup and add all tho ingredient*. Whisk lightly over a gentle heat until it comes to tho boil, remove the whisk, cover the pan and allow it to stand 10 minutes. Pass a quart of boilinz water through a bag or towel and then the jelly. Pour about } inch of jelly into a mould, and decorate with strawberries. When set add a littlo more jelly cold and more strawberries and so on until the mould is full. When quite firm din in warm water, turn out, and serve.
