Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellington, report as follows on the clearing sale, held at his homestead at Hanak&u on Wednesday and Thursday this week, on account of Mr. Bobert Ransfield, of llanakau:—There was a very large at-, tendance of buyers from ail parts, the Wairarapa, Palmerston North,' and Feilding districts being well represented, end the stock came forward in excellent order. Favoured with ideal weather on both days, the sale went without a hitch, and every lot offered met with keen competition. The eheep, which wero comprised chiefly of ewes and lambs in the wool, and deary cattle especially being 'greatly in demand, and a" pen of purebred two-tooth ewes realised 30s. 6d., the purchaser being Mr. J. It. M'Donald, of Levin.
