The ad.-\triting competition in connection with George Danes, Ltd., Tho Modern Tailors, which, closed on November 30th, has been an immense success—a tremendous number of entries having been received from all parts of theEoininion. TJio twelve best ads. were so uniformly good as to make selection very difficult, and the directors are considering giving several special prizes in addition to tlioso previously announced. Tito first prize (.£2O) has been awarded to Mrs. 11. T. Gibson, of Russell Street, Waihi, and tho second prize (.£5) to Mr. , George Groom, of 30 Hayden Street, Auckland.
