fSpecially written for Tns Douikion.) FRIDAY. Lentil Soup. Schnapper, Stuffed and Baked. Potatoes. Green Peas. Gooseberry Pudding. Cream. GOOSEBERRY PUDDING.. Half-poaind flour, Jib. suet, half teaspoonful baking powder, salt, cold water to mix, 21b.- gooseberries, sugar. Grease a pudding-basin. Top and. tail the gooseberries, shred and chop the suet. Mix the flour, baking. powder, and salt together, and mix to stiff paste with cold water. Turn on to a floured board, work out the oracles, and roll out about Jin. thick. Line the basin. Half fill with gooseberries, then a<ld sugar and a little water. Pill up with fruit, cover with crust, tie down tightly with a pudding cloth, and boil two hours. Turn out, and serve. FOE TO-MOKROW. Stock, neck of veal, parsley, cauliflower, pastry. ' . FOE SUNDAY. Green peas, stock, loin of pork, apples, French beans, gooseberries, pastry, cream.
