These things all went to the making of •" "our home life, and. in New Zealand, to- . day-there.was not enough.love.fop this, home-life. : There was the neglect of i' ■ that which was so essential to. the maki ing of. a-great'community. When he i; - was in • England he" intended to visit the girls' secondary, schools,, and; among other ■"' things to seo the physical training which was carried out there. In New Zealand ;'. they had, taken a very advanced step in ' * connection with physical training,- and !». medical inspection had''disclosed that; '."■ thero was a great deal to be done through physical training. It -had shown that ' there were existing in the primary schools .v . cases of. curvature.of the.spine and mal,- . formation, of shoulders, evils which would ; bo cured-by. this system. Mr. Allen !
