Dr. Winifred-Bathgate, who has been in this country • for a;-.few months, expects to leave for home in November. Mr.' and Mrs. J. H. Taylor, who are at present staying in .Sheffield, leave on .December 5 for New Zealand by the Corinthi'c. Mrs. Taylor, who has been in bad health, is now much better. The High Commissioner gave an account of the military training of boys in New. Zealand at tho third national conference on.- sea-training in the London County Council Chamber last week. Mr. and Mrs. William Owen, of Wellington, who returned last week to London from a fortnight's stay in Paris, went on to Manchester, where they will remain until the end of November. Mrs. T. W.
