NAPIER WOOL SALES.

HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL,RESULTS. At the Napier wool sales last week tho prices oil round wero probably the best in tho history of tho province. Top price of the sale was reached for 21 bales halfbred, sold on account of the estate of tho late W. H. Small, Fernsidc, Otnns, which realised 14d. per lb. . The following clips aba fetched Is. per lb. and upwards, viz.: A. Kobottom, Atane, to 13J<1.; F. J. Witherom, Patangata, to 13Jd.; Captain Howard, Otane, to 13d.; A. A/Small, Oka'hu, to lojd.; D. Canning, Oakbourne, to 123 d.; H. Hohson, Hatuma, to 12:Jd.; Jas. Tod, Otane, to 123 d.; estate late J. W. Witherow, Patangata, to 12J-ci.; V. L. Tiff en, Elmshill, to 121 d.; Thos. U'itherow, Otane, to 12d. , It is pleasing to note -that the whole of theso clips were dipped in White's wellknown dip. Of course wo do not wish to assort that the above successful results were directly and totally attributable to the fact that White's Dip was -used on theso flocks. What we do say is: that a man who has the ability to-put a highclass clip on the market does not leave anything to chance, and when he selects. :his dip he goes for the very l>est that can be procured.
