The Baths Committee reported that the question of mixed and family bathing had been considered by tho committee, which had been informed by the .custodian of the municipal bntlis that many requests had been made that mixed bathing should bo allowed under proper restrictions. The committee had found that custom obtained at baths in Britain, and. recommended .that three months' trial should, be given in the Christchurch bath, the time to be Saturday evenings,. between. 7 and 9. o'clock. The following'regulations governing admission to'the baths during that, period 'were recommended:— ...... .That the-balh: should bo- cleared-,oi-general bathers half an .hour ■•before family bathing commenced.
