t ADMIRAL SIR GEORGE KING-HALL -■ SPEAKS. Yesterday afternoon, at the Young Men's Christian Association, the men wero addressed by his Excellency Ad- . miral Sir George King-Hall. Mr. Jamej. son, National Secretary for the Y.M.C.A.'s ; throughout New Zealand, introduced his 5 Excellency, and spoke of the interest he had taken in the work of the Young ' Men's Christian Associations in different parts,, and of the valuable help thus rendered to the association movement.^ In rising to speak, his Excellency said s ho did not wish to accept any credit s for coming, because to come and address such a body of men for the purpose of :1 testifying for his Lord and Master Jesus t Christ was a privilege. He was glad to t come .because he knew something of the ; work of tho Y.M.C.A., and because it recognised that we were all essential spirit tual beings and also that we "have minds t and bodies to develop as well as our - spiritual natur.e. God wanted us to des velop all our faculties, and if we developd 3 one at the expense of another, w would - be going contrary to God's wishes. Our - spirits, minds, and-bodies must work in 3 harmony. God tells' us Ho is a spirit, therefore if we are to have communion and fellowship with Him wo must have , the right conception of God; this can only 1.-s had through earnest prayer and 3 genuine work for the Master. Men were r watching'us on all sides, and wo should >' remember that by our lives ; wo were in- ' ' iluencinj other men, therefore the neces- " sity of "having tho right conception of • life and living closo'/ttf-'God. • 3 The president of tlie association (Mr. " 11.
