Present inddcaitdons are for waxm and luazy weather Rencrally, with cloudiness increasing In the northern and southernmost districts, and also on the West Coast of tlio South Island. The barometer has still a downward tendency, and strong winds are probable. Warm and loir to cloudy weather has continued, but unsettled conditions lave prevailed at times in the eitremo south. Feilding, December 9.—Tory hot day; calm, cool night. Shannon, December 9.—Sunday and Monday were fine and warm,, but the appearance in the evening was rather unsettled. Masterton, Decomber 9.—Anothet warm summer day. Hastings, December 9—Yesterday and today have been maTked by perfect 6ummer weather, this being accompanied by a considerable rise in temperature. Otalii, December 9.—Bright sunshine. Greytown, December 9.—A lovely Bummer day. Featlicrston, Deoember 9.—Bright, warm day. Carterton, December 9—The weather is. lino and warm. It is ideal summer, which has been- long looked for, and will enable good progress to be made with outdoor work.
