The I.C.S. model cake recently displayed at the I.C.S. Students' Association dinner is now being exhibited in the Mercery window of James Smith, Ltd., Cuba Street. This model was designed and executed by Student G. E. Grantham, of Lower Hutt. At the invitation of Miss Sommerville, Mr. C. W. Palmer, local hon. secretary of the Navy League, will visit Croydon School, Hill Street, to-day, with a' view to tho formation of a branch of the league at that school. Amateur' athletics are notified that entriesfor the annual gathering of tho Wanganui Caledonian' Society will close on January 9, 1913.
