December 8, '5.5 p.m.) London, December 7. ; The "Chronicle's" Vienna correspondent reports that it has been allowqd.to become, known that the insult to the Austrian flag at Werizrend was of such an extraordinary nature that humiliating satisfaction must be sought. The demands include the removal of Janovich, the commander of the Servian corps, and the degradation of the officers participating in the outrage; the Servian regiment to march past the Consulate saluting the Austrian flag; King Peter in full dress to visit the Austrian Minister at Belgrade and apologise.

Neuter's Constantinople correspondent states that Adrianople will receive foodstuffs when the Peace Conference begins. . "The* Times"' states that; Austria-: Hungary and Italy have remonstrated with Greece regarding, the bombardment of Avlona.

BURNING AND PILLAGING. MARAUDERS DEFEATED BY GREEK TROOPS. Athens, December 8. The Greek troops defeated a band marauders and remnants of, the Turkish. army who were burning and pillaging the villages in Macedonia and Epirus. Three hundred and thirty Turks were killed or wounded, and forty were captured. . '. The Greeks axo bombarding the outer forts at Janina. TRIPLE ALLIANCE. RENEWED UNALTERED. Vienna, December 8.
