Major-General Godley is to be present at the luncheon to be tendered Admiral Sir Geo. King--Hall by the New Zealand Club to-morrow-at 1 p.m.
Bishop deary, of Auckland, and Bishop Grimes, of Christchurch, are visitors to Wellington in connection with the presentation of prizes at St. Patrick's _ College this evening. ,
Mr. Edward Page, S.M., who has been located in Wanganui for the past month, left foT the south on Saturday evening to do relief work at Greyniouth. Mr. Henry Chadwick, manager of the Theatre Royal for the Fuller-Brennan Company, is being transferred to Christchurch this week.
Mr. D. T. Stuart, auditor and accountant, who has been touring England and the Continent lor ■neatly two years past, is a passenger by the Manuka, due here from Sydney on Wednesday morning.
