ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
DEATH IN GAOL. An inquest will be held this morning covering Tie death of John Johnson,' a single man, forty years of age, who died in the Terrace Gaol on Thursday. The deceased was a native of Aberdeen, and he had no relatives "here. t For ten. days prior to his death Dr. Gilmer, the gaol surgeon, had Johnson under treatment. He was about on Thursday afternoon, but went to bed as ho felt weak. Ono of tlio warders spoke to him at about i o'clock; an. 'hour later he .was dead.
