AMBULANCE DAY.
"ONE SHILLING EARNS A- BADGE."
To-day is Ambulance Day, and the city will bo besieged by ladies armed withl collection boxes. Tho motto,', "one shilling earns a badge," indicates that those, who donate that sum ivill receive a badge tia protection against tho assaults of" other collectors. It is antioipated that tho public will show practical sympathy with the work of the St. John Ambulance Association by contributing liberally to-day* This is the aunual opportunity fiffeped for one and all to help tho cause of suffering humanity. .
