FEATHERSTON ITEMS.
It is reported that apiarists in the Wairarapa will not have a very profitable season this year, owing to the prevalence of wet and cold. weather during itlie spring months, which prevented tho bees going out for feed, and they are accordingly dying in great numbers. Another of the series of lectures to farmers, arranged by the Farmers' Union, was given at the Town Hall here on Thursday evening, when Mr. P. C. Brown, a Government expert from the poultry division, (delivered an instrucftivo address on the rearing of poultry. Mr. Q.
