AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS IN BRITAIN. By T«learaDh—Pross Aosoolatlon-OoDirtaht (Rec. December 7, 0.15 a.m.) Sydney, Deoomber 6. It is rumoured that the conduct of several members of the Australian Eleven recently touring England was extremely bad. Tho "Sun" newspaper alleges, that tho team as a whole was compelled to suffer for the delinquencies of a few, and to all intents and purposes was fibcially ostracised. The "Sun" adds that a report by Mr. Crouch, the manager, will bo considered by the Board of Control in a few days, and that Mr. Crouch states that, whilo the condact of the team os a whole called for nothing but complimentary comment, the misdeeds of a few wore such aa to induce him to ask the board to consider whether the ©electors in future should not consider something else besides playing ability when selecting a team. The report does not mention names.
