0 , N.Z. EMPLOYEES' FEDERATION. At the annual meeting of tie New Zea« land Employers' Federation in Septenu ber last, it was decided to increase 'tho staff by tjie appointment of an assistant secretary and an organiser to more adequately cope with the administrative and organising work of the Federation. Oa the report of the Advisory Board it has now been decided to appoint- Mr. N. M'Robie, Waihi (at present of tho .Waihi "Daily Telegraph") to the position or assistant secretary to tho Federation (of which Mr. W. Pryor is secrctary-in-ohief) t and Mr. R. A. Armstrong, of Auckland, a successful election campaign to tho position of organiser.
