■As an experiment in relieving thb con» gestion of traffic, and subject to the approval of the police authorities, the "Waf. fic Special Committee of the Westminster City Council recommend , that notices be affixed'in Jermyn Street and Bennett Street, requesting drivers of vehicles to proceed through those' thoroughfares in a westerly direction only,, and in Arlington Street and Deanery Street, requesting drivers to proceed in a northerly di* rection only.
